Release Notes:
NEW - Controlled Symbol Update: Because of an ISMP reported issue unrelated to our software where someone confused a Roman Numeral four (IV) as meaning intravenous, we have updated our controlled symbols to use standard numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5.)
NEW - Softer Database Locking: Several customers have had issues with the database becoming corrupted during normal operation. Previous updates that enabled a "timeout" feature to alleviate this issue did not prove sufficient. Now, MILT always connects to the database to read or write, and then immediately drops the connection to minimize the possibility of corruption.
NEW - Updated Timeout Feature: The current timeout feature has been altered so it will log the current user out after a set number of minutes of inactivity. As part of the update, the old timeout has been set to 0 minutes to disable the feature. You may set a new timeout value on the Settings - General screen if you want to use this feature.
NEW - Personal Sort Settings: The Sort settings at the top of the formulary are now stored and applied individually for each user.
FIXED - Tools - Hide nonfunctional Template button from Settings Menu.
FIXED - Date Prompt - Set default names for buttons.
FIXED - Roles - Added X to menu bar at top of screen.
FIXED - Search - Disabled MPN search by default.
FIXED - Settings - When exiting the Settings Menu, MILT remembers the current date settings and then reapplies them.
FIXED - Preview - When an invalid setting is applied to the margins, MILT increases or decreases the value until it is in valid range.
FIXED -Search - HCDPD search error resolved.
FIXED - LDS300 - Default bottom margin repaired.
FIXED - LD8200 - Max top margin repaired.
FIXED - Approval - Without "Approve Own" permission, user can not pre-check their own jobs.
FIXED - Print - Clearer error message when printer fails.
FIXED - Terminal Error - If the program can not be launched successfully there is only one error message displayed before the program closes completely.
FIXED - Application Identifiers - Indexing issue of new AI repaired.
Instructions:
- Current build must be 4003, 4004, 4005, 4006, 4007, 4008, 4009, 4010 or 4011 (check Help - About for your build number). If you are on a build lower than 4003 you must uninstall and re-install from here: MILT4DEMO.exe (Version 4012)
- If this is the first 4012 install in your environment, close MILT 4 on ALL computers first.
- Download and run: MILT4012.exe
NOTE - If you receive an error, find the downloaded file, right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator" - Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Repeat Step 3 on each computer where you have MILT 4 installed (MILT will only need to be closed on the computer you are updating after the first one.)
